I have a new toy: "The Joy of Cooking" 1946 edition cookbook.
Today, July 4, 2011, I have owned this book for about 24 hours. It was the family cook book of Jeanne Gardner. I graciously bought it at her estate sale for 1.00.
Since there were 7 girls in my family and I am the youngest, I didn't inherit any of my mom's precious cook books. This cook book is as close as I will be able to get.
I would love to make all of these recipes and I want to blog about them.
